Something along the lines of, "No one should EVER need more than 128 K of memory for any reason." This is not an exact quote. I just remember that because I still have an IBM-compatible 128 K single floppy-drive computer made in 1984, and it still works fine.

could have been as low as it's so long I don't exactly remember probably about 100 MB
At the time The commodore 64 very popular had only 64,000 bits
