Ok so theres this girl who i havent seen in a long time and we finally saw each other last week, and we did the usual. we talked alot, we caught up, and we had so much fun together. she kept saying stuff like "we so need to hang out" and "i have your sn, i will IM you"
well the other day we were both online and she wouldnt IM me. I was on for like 2 hours and she never did. i figured maybe she was busy and she didnt see that i was on, so i waited again the next day and the same thing happened.
finally i just decided to im her and i did, and we talked for like an hour and just had so much fun talking to each other. I IM'ed her the next day (yesterday) too and this time we talked for like two hours. she said she loves talking to me and she even shared some of her personal problems with me like we were best friends.
right now we are both online but she wont IM me. Why? when we are talking it feels like we are good friends, but she's never the one to start it and IM me.

but its been for like the last five days we have both been online at the same time, and for quite a while too. I mean, she cant go that long without noticing me can she? I dont know, i feel like she doesnt want to talk to me and if i didnt IM her then she wouldnt talk to me at all. But, when we do talk its like the complete opposite, I feel like we are such good friends by the conversations we have. again i dont know, i just really like her and dont know what i would do if i didnt talk to her
so my original question: Why wont she IM me?!?!

Maybe she is waiting for you to message her to proove you like her to herself. Who knows, teenage hormones are all kinds of crazy.
Just keep talking to her, keep hanging out, and just go with the flow.
Maybe even ask why she doesnt IM you.
I had the same problem at one point, and it was because she was too nervous to say anything.
You never really know unless you ask.

Well, some people come online for more than IM's...And if this friend is just that a friend, who is str8, why are u obsessing about her im'ing you...especially since the last couple im's have been very lengthy.

It's possible she just didn't notice that you're on. Some people have a ton of buddies on their instant messenger lists and they don't see when one of them comes online, or they've learned to tune it out. Gosh, I know I can't run over and click on my buddy list every time somebody signs in, I'd never leave messenger alone. I wouldn't worry too much about it. :)

Maybe she's busy doing other things online.Or maybe she's not at the computer and forgot to put she wasn't at her desk. Don't take it personally.Especially since she did talk to you and you had a good chat.

ok so the first time she did'nt im u first i thought she was busy
but now that its a commen occurence iam starting to think that she might be ignoreing you or that she dose'nt know how to start a coversation. so the next time your online you im her don't wate for her to start

she could just be doing what i do wich is stay online incase someone I.M.s me while i resurch or websurf or whatever. i also leave myself online while i go do other things and if someone I.M.s me ill hear it or check it later.
