Mlx ummm check yourself because in certain states there is a age that a child gets to pick whatever parent they want to be with. They get a say! ( I didn't know if Alabama was like that)

In Alabama the child has absolutely NO CHOICE. The child MAY testify, but the parents' attorneys would have to subpoena the child. That is RARE.

In Alabama. What the law says and what the court does are to diffirent thing's.
Also, here in bama. your prolly with your momma and judge is gonna do what she says. So your stuck till 18 hun.

You don't get to choose. That'd be ridiculous. One parent may be more strict, so in turn you decide to go live with the other?

It's who's more suitable, and if they're relatively the same the child almost always goes to the mother.

don't know about Alabama but in Michigan it is 12
