Depends on what is being evaluated.
Statesmanship----very high marks
Judgment -- very iffy
Popularity -- very high around the world
Leadership -- generally good. Built the army that destroyed Saddam, stopped genocide in Yugoslavia.
Vision -- iffy. Not sure NAFTA will prove to be a good idea. Don't think Clinton was a long-view kind of guy like say FDR.
Intelligence --- very high
Communicator--- very high
Grace under Pressure -- excellent. he survived constant lunatic attacks against him and defeated his enemies re: whitewater (a bust for the GOP) and impeachment. Tough.
I'd say he'll get about a B. Not a great president but he did well by the country. He presided over the largest economic expansion in US history, before or since.
He didn't do well by himself or by the dignity of the office of the Presidency however. Had he lived in JFKs time, he'd have gotten away with it. (not that he should have, but JFK did and now we love him don't we?)

Well, obviously a very popular president. You'll probably get a lot of answerers who regard him as some sort of liberal ideologue but lets not forget he was a major backer of NAFTA, and the WTO, which haven't exactly helped the American laborer. Over all I would think he would be view a bit above average. C+ to a B.

Mediocre, perhaps above average. He had no great accomplishment so he may be forgotten n a few generations. I mean how many consider Calvin Coolidge a great President. Prosperity at home, peace abroad, balanced budgets sounds like Clinton's claim for greatness.

A total disaster ! This will be the only logical conclusion to what Clinton failed to do as president.
Truly, Clinton's accomplishment were very few. The economy was already on it's ear before this guy left office. The attacks on our country were shamefully ignored. His one potentially positive was NAFTA, and even that fell on it's butt, even before Clinton was gone.
Militarily, every where you look, the guy couldn't get it right. This is because he himself feared the military complex. The archives are obliged to get it right, without shading the truth. It will difficult to put a positive spin on Clinton's accomplishments. This man should walk away, and never look back !

A better question, what will the legacy of Bush's Presidency be, the numbers of American soldiers' deaths will be well over 4,000, and for what? And what of our state in the world where whole nations don't respect us anymore, I could go on but I'll leave it to others write that list, which continues to grow, these are indeed sad times.
I have yet to see a list of Bush's 'great accomplishments',
there's a lol moment.
