a strange but candid answer to this question- I resent not being able to be bad. I greatly resent my conscience. It's not that I don't like any of my good deeds, I thoroughly enjoy them but would have liked to do some bad ones too like being bad to the people who cheat me, which I am not able to do because I can't cause even my enemies any distress. I'll carry this resentment to my grave.

Not achieving our goals, hopes, dreams
Not getting into a line of work that we can live with
Some regret not going to college
Losing a love (friend, family member, spouse, b/f-g/f, etc.)
Some regret the time they missed with their children, while they were out making a living
We all regret the bad choices we've made in life--and everyone has made at least a couple of those.

I think that the biggest regret that most people have in life comes at the end, as they look back on what they did, and all the memories of "I could've, I would've, but I didn't" come flooding back. That eternal question of "what if?" that plagues us all from time to time, coming back en masse to make you think one last time about what you did with your life.

Regrets over the road not taken.
Losing time.
That which can be summed up by the expression, "hindsight is twenty-twenty vision."
