i did everything that windows said to try and nothing is making it work i am low in color ink but im trying to print a black and white picture.

You may be surprised to know that printers use the color cartridge to print black and white pictures (the black cartridge is used for text only). You may very well find that when you replace the color cartridge that your printer will print the picture.
When the three primary colors are mixed together, they produce black (actually, it's not pure black, but rather a very, very dark shade of blueish-purple that looks like black).

Try uninstalling it an then re-installing it.If that does'nt work,well printers are as cheap as the replacement cartridges.

If it is a USB cord make sure that it is in the right port. Make sure you usb ports are the right speed for it. Try uninstalling every component of it then reinstalling it all after restarting your comp.

Well why donbt you try reinstalling it and doing everything again or call customer service.
