I won a fluorescent light bulb from Yahoo Answers. I couldn't believe it. That was the first time I had ever won anything in my life. Fluorescent light bulbs are not cheap, and they usually last about two or three years. I think I had to earn 3,000 points before I could win anything.

I did have to respond to an e-mail from Yahoo Answers before I could claim my prize. I had to give them my address before they could mail the prize to me.

Yeah, I got the tote bag and 2 light bulbs! And then last December for their anniversary I got a car magnet. They gave different prizes for whichever level you were on. I think I was Level 2 or Level 3 at the time, but higher levels got T-shirts, mugs, ball caps, sweaters, I think. Maybe they'll do something similar again this December. Keep your eyes peeled, and make sure to sign up for the promotion if they have it.

I got bulb and a nice bag but they were not prizes, you had to request them.
