No ... middle names are rarely used, that's why people can get away with such weird ones without a problem. Even when someone is called by their full name, as long as it flows well it's just fine.

My mother is Loretta Anne Renee ... I think it flows very well, and it's not all that awkward.

Now, there is some potential for awkwardness ... especially if you give your kid two long middle names, or if you repeat syllables/cadence/letters.

Remember that varying the number of syllalbes and the cadence (that is, which syllable the stress falls on) will make for a more melodic name.

its not common for people to have 2 middle names. However, it is common for Catholics to have a middle name and then a confirmation name, thus resulting in 2 middle names.

It is common today to find more and more people giving their children 2 middle names... I frankly am having a hard time figuring out 1 middle name... LOL

i don't think its awkward at all to give your child two different names because as naming your child in general every name has a meaning. and for which that meaning is what you like and that's why many people choose certain names for that reason on what they mean. like if you want your last name and the fathers last name to be included in the child's full name it would the first last name would be used as a secondary middle name such like Jeremiah Michael- Harper smith.... to me i think its a wonderful idea . well good luck =D

No. Not awkward. I think it's a mouthful, and would just traditionally stick to a first name/ one middle name combo.
It's very standard in royal families to give several names.
Duchess of York named her children Beatrice Elizabeth Mary and Eugenie Victoria Helena

No. I have a daughter named izabella cameron juliana hayes. I named her izabella because i thought it was beautiful and classic, timeless. I thought cameron kind of neutralized Izabella which is real feminine and girly i thought cameron gave more of an edge. Juliana i thought sounded pretty with it and i also liked that with those names if she didnt like her first name it gave her versitility on a nickname she could use. I think two middle names or one or three are cute lol

No especially if she is not catholic. Catholics give their children one middle name and then when they are confirmed the child picks the confirmation name they want. I picked Patricia after my aunty who was my godmother. My mother changed her name from Ruth to Barbara (her middle name) so giving the child more middle names will give her more choices if she wants to change her name.

I don't think so. My middle name is Elizabeth and it's just part of my great grandmother's name. I think it would sound neat if it was Mary Elizabeth, the whole thing but I didn't name myself. It is different but that doesn't make it awkward.
