I have some very strange names in my family (including Hollywood, Alderon and Easter) and an unusual name myself. I think the strangest name I've ever heard is Mylittle Darling and it's an actual person's name too. My favorite name for a girl is Haiku Rose; for a boy I like the name Autumn Jade.

I have some friends with interesting names. Saudi (nickname for Saudades) Palace, Chapalet (Swedish) Laban (pronounced Lay-ban) Roma (my grandmother). I love the Jewish names Micah and Judah.
My name is unique in the sense that it is straight up British Isles. I'm reprensenting the Scots, Welsh and Irish with Jennifer Laurel Stewart.

Again, another teacher! I have seen King Darius, Deacon Tayre, Most Beautiful, Miller Tyme (first and last name, parents say it represents the beer commercial, good times are miller times), Azyeqkila (I have no idea, Az-quila is how mom pronounced it), pajama (pronounced paaj-a-maaa, mom named her after the named after the baby in the JC Penny catalog, and no it is not how we say pajama that we wear and nickname is NOT PJ). And my fav named with combining her parents name : Merijuannia !!Remember, names are for life! unique is not always the best. have a great day. Robyn Ann (named after my dad, Robin John)

The strangest name I've ever come across was Nosmo King (pronounced like NAWS-moe). His mother, while heavily sedated, had seen the NO SMOKING sign in her delivery room and chosen it as the name for her son. His last name was Smith or Johnson or something very common. I would never chose it for my child, but I think its really interesting.
I love the name Virginia, Ginny for short. I think its very elegant and uncommon. I know a lot of people don't like the VIrgin factor, but I like Ginny as a nickname. I also like Genevieve and Margaret, which I know a lot of people don't like.
