I'll be applying into UIC really soon...
I have a GPA of 3.9 out of a 5.0 scale
28 on my ACT's
and 287 hours of volunteer hours...
I'll be applying into the nursing program in UIC
Do I have a good shot of getting in? ...I know it's easy to get into ther LAS school, but I heard that nursing is getting more and more competative...
...Would i Have a higher chance of getting in if I applied as Early Decision, just because they could see that I'm really serious about attending their school? ..Or would I be thrown into a bunch of other people who are just as competative as I Am?
With my GPA, ACT score, etc...would I be better of just applying Early Admissions? as opposed to Early Decision?

One cannot apply into the UIC nursing program until you have completed some college courses. It is a transfer program here. In terms of acceptance into UIC LAS, you should be accepted. Since UIC is rolling admissions, apply ASAP. Regular UIC undergraduate admissions does not have early decision/admissions.
From what I hear, of the people who get into the UIC Nursing program, they tend to have a very high GPA. It is in the mid 3s or so.
