What do you feel physically, (after a few days!) are you still puking, or dizzy, or don't feel well.

All of the pregnancy symptoms sort of disappear...except for the contractions. After the baby has been born, you will really just be tired. Don't let anyone kid you. Caring for an infant is hard work. Be prepared to be up every hour or two for the first month or so just to feed and change this bundle of love. While it IS very rewarding, you will also wonder at times if you can handle the lack of sleep.

As far as physical issues, that depends on the type of birth you choose.

If you deliver by caesarean section, you have just endured a major surgery. You may have to deal with gas pains, incisional pain, uterine contractions, and you will have staples so moving around will be quite difficult.

If you deliver vaginally, you will also continue with the contractions. They are not over once the baby has been delivered and post-delivery contractions will be stronger than some women face after delivery if you decide to nurse. You will also be swollen, especially in the area between your vagina and your anus...this can be VERY painful. And you will more than likely bleed or spot for anywhere between two days and a week. This discomfort can be eased by laxatives and/or stool softeners.

I was sick for six months after I had the first two. I ran a fever of 102- 105 every month for several days. I caught every virus that came along and was sicker than anyone else in the family. I also felt very weak for the first month. (My red blood cell count was normal.)
After my third, I had arthritis for 8 months.
I felt just fine after the fourth one.

Honestly I can't even remember what it feels like physically because I was so overjoyed to have the baby. All I can remember is staring at the baby all day and smiling.

After a few days you should just be sore. I didn't have any puking at all, except for one time just after my epidural with my first baby.

Just soreness and tiredness!

You'll feel sore, but where you feel sore depends on if it was a vaginal or c-section. You'll also feel pretty tired. Other than that, you'll just feel so overjoyed by finally having your baby in your arms that you'll barely even notice any of those symptoms.
