call the management

2007-08-24 15:07:37 · answer #1 · answered by Samantha 5 · 2 0

First off, why is he copping an attitude? There is more to the story! Perhaps you are a remembered notorious poor/non tipper. Perhaps you are the one that needs dealt with? If the driver has no genuine reason to be rude or cop an attitude the best thing to do is call the store you ordered your pizza from and politely speak to the manager. Don't call him and rip him a new one, he most likely has no clue what the reason behind the problem is. Tell him in a calm manner that you were upset with your driver and allow him to resolve the matter with you. Getting upset and taking your anger out on the manager is only going to tick him off and make him not want to help you and oftentimes the managers anger over the matter can fall back on innocent employees. Many people loose their cool in the heat of the moment, but we are at are best when maintaining compsure in sticky situations.

I have never had that problem. I do have a lady though, she is friends with my mother, and she delivers pizza as a side job during the holidays for a little extra money. When she ends up coming here (which happens often) she always gets touchy later on the phone with my mother, saying she would expect me to tip her more because she is a friend of the families. Jeeze woman, I tip to 20%! I am not filthy rich here! I actually try not to order from her place when I hear she is working there now. Just so I don't have to hear it from her.

Give him a low tip, call the pizza place and ask to speak to the manager and tell the manager about the delivery guy.

I'd refuse the pizza, give no tip and call their boss. There's no sense in having an attitude with a customer.

Don't give him a tip. Then call the pizza place and tell them what happened. If they don't seem like they will take care of the problem, tell them you'll never shop there again, and you're going to tell all your friends and family not to buy there either.

yeah don't give him a tip or slip some paper money for the tip hahah, my friend and me did that once.

it won't matter really what you do, you only see the delivery guy for 2 seconds and then he's gone.

maybe you should ask him, what's his problem? maybe he justs needs someone to listen to him or maybe he doesn't like his job... man there could be so many reasons...

You give him the money for the pizza, then get the "tip" out of your pocket, reach out like your going to hand it to him, but then stop and say: "Oh, sorry this is mine not yours!" and put the money back in your pocket. Then slam the door in his face. (Make sure you have the pizza first though)

I take my pizza and slam the door on his face and don't give him a tip.
And next time I go pick up my pizza because if someone did that to me I would spit in their pizza.
So just remember they handle you food before you do.
