I've been suffering from extreme writers block. Back in high school, our teacher used to give us a beginning line to our poems and we would write it from there. Is there a website that has ideas and excersizes to get me back on my feet writing again?

If you really feel that you can't find a good opening line, you're trying to hard. You can take any opening line to just about any sentence and build a poem from it...for example, your question: "I've been suffering from extreme..."

I've been suffereing from extreme
Too much of everything lately
So much at times that I could scream
And lose myself completely

See my point? It's not "what" you see, it's "how" you see it. Don't take spoon fed ideas, read something and when you find a phrase that flows off your tongue, start with that as your opening line.

good luck...and keep writing

Here's a link to some exercises a few of us did on Y/A;

We explored the different forms together and had a good deal of fun, with some excellent poetic results.
