I think they do it on the same concept as building ships in a bottle.
Then, if the test tube is abandoned by its maker they put a cork on the top and float it out to sea. The message in the bottle or in this case test tube would be the adoption papers.

This actually made me laugh out loud. They're called test tube babies because they are made in a test tube when they are eggs. Everyone's that small at one point.

It's not a real test tube. It's like a jar. They say test-tube because you associate them with science and stuff.

"try tube infants" is whilst a physician manipulates an egg and a sperm to reason it to fertilize and start to divide. whilst it reaches a undeniable point (different medical doctors performs this at different developmental cycles) the zygote/embryo is placed into the female's uterus the place that is was hoping to implant and become somewhat one. that is one hundred% and the genetic offspring of the sperm and egg donors (possibly the parents, yet no longer the case for all). Cloning is different. Cloning is the manipulation of DNA textile. i do no longer completely comprehend the technology in the back of the recommendations, besides the shown fact that it jogs my memory too a lot of puppy Cemetery; somethings should not be messed with.

Lt. Shinyshades is correct. They keep these babies in pickle jars until parents can be found.

Haven't you ever seen "Fantastic Voyage"?
They start off with regular-sized babies and then they shrink them down.
