Computer not recognizing modem. I was using wireless so I'm thinking it may need to be configured. HELP?

Running Windows XP, switching to dialup

Open internet explorer and in the web search where you type the URL type........192.168.1.1 to configure. There should be a guide in there to help you configure it.

unistall / re-install, go to control panel > modems > diagnostic > query modem see if it communicates
