In the unlikely event that he does decide to run, Gore could siphon quite a bit of support from Clinton and Obama. It could also affect the campaign contributions for every candidate trying to build up their "war chests" come primary season.

I think if Gore were to decide to run, he would have a very good shot at winning. He's a very popular figure among Democrats, especially after his efforts to bring attention to global warming. Hillary and Obama are two of the least environmentally conscious Democratic candidates, so Gore would get a lot of support from the more environmentally conscious Dems.

I think if Gore were to run, Obama would have virtually no shot. He and Hillary had better hope that Gore stays out of the race, as I suspect he will. After all, he was Bill Clinton's VP for 8 years, so it's hard to see him jumping in to take the election away from Hillary.
