The main thing you should do is remember that you may look 15/16 but you are only 13!. Don't be in any hurry, you have plenty of time ahead of you. Its good that older guys leave you alone when they find out your age. Don't let anyone take advantage of you.

this is a good thing in some ways. a lot of teens today look older than they actually are, and it can be used to your advantage when it comes to responsibility and taking action. however alot of looking older is actually a result of the way you dress, wear your hair, and use make-up- if you actually do.

dont get me wrong im not saying you should go shop at wal-mart in the little girls section. but at the same time, you shouldnt be going to those stores that target 17-18 year olds.
stores like limited too and such are targeted for girls your age.

secondly, the first thing on your mind at 13 shouldn't be older guys. ok so the boys your age will seem shy, or may not even be looking for a girl yet. the key is to remember that females often mature 1-2 years faster than the average male. in the same respect, you shouldn't be looking for older guys thinking they are more mature and understand you more.
As you grow older you will learn more about relationships, more about love, and more about boys.

you're only 13 so there's no way you can experience love yet. it will come with time. Everyone goes through that 13 year old age, and its tough. mixed emotions, excessive hormones, its really one of the hardest times in life as far as aging and maturity goes.

the only thing you can do is relax, and enjoy the ride, while making wise decisions at the same time. it sounds tough, but you'll see what i mean.

If people said you look 15/16 then say "Thank you. I'll take that as a compliment". Some girls are gonna kill themselves just to look as mature as possible. You are lucky, I'd say.
When the older guys come and once knowing the truth, then run away... well, don't think too much. You are too young to be dealing with those hungry guys. Enjoy your youth and have fun. In a few years time you may miss being this age. It's really cool.
As for nasty looks, ignore them. You did nothing wrong. Can't help being beautiful from younger age.

Thank you very much and good luck.

my granddaughter has the same problem, just remember you are 13 so do things a 13 year old kid should be doing.find something you like such as sports or cheer leading or helping out at your church or other place of worship.study really stay focused on school and learn how to cook.make sure you know how to take care of your self.there is no hurry trying to grow up.even if you were 15 or 16 still do these things.guys and dating all that can wait.good luck.

When I was a freshman or sophomore in high school, this junior walked up to me and thought I was a senior. I'm about 5"11 or so in height and I matured at an early age, so he thought I was older than I looked. I told him I was younger than he thought I was; he actually was taken aback a bit.

Anyway, it happens to a lot of us...it's even happened to my 12-year old sister. All you can really do is ignore them, especially if it isn't any of their business. I wouldn't change anything about the way you look just because of this problem. It shouldn't force you to change your image. Just be yourself and shrug off those types of people. It's not worth it. ;)

I look a lot older than my age too...and a couple years ago when I was 13, and all my sisters were at least 4 years older than me, I had a lot of people thinking that the whole group of sisters were friends around the same age. I don't know what to tell but keep your head up. You look older and people gotta accept that. If you were wearing a whole lot of makeup and thats what made you look older, I would tell you that you don't need it...Or if you dress older than your age, I would tell you to try to dress more your age..But If it just happens that people think you are older than what you are, they just need to accept it. Theres nothing you can really do about..

Hope this helped you hun

=)

I have the same problem!! I hit purberty early so I'm mustled up. My advise is to politly tell them your age, if they do walk away and you never see them again, THEY AREN'T GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU!!!!!!! You will find someone that will except you for who you are.
