Anyone seen ---wish tonight? I try not to let it get to me, had a root canal today, power went out, power back on now, no cable for TV or computer, I'm on dial-up. Other than that I'm so happy I could just fart.
What's your address-I'll front you twenty bucks. Hmm, shouldn't ask that ,sorry.

I think I must live for hard times, because I never seem to get ahead or even close to getting even, and when I have had the opportunity to get away from my problem, I just go right back to it. Rather than letting them get to me, I accept them as a part of my way of life.

You can't let it get to you because you will never be happy, live each day like a new day a new start. One foot in front of the other, one step at a time. Be greatful for the good days and the good times life does give you.

No, I have been through the losses of Katrina...lost my home and personal belongings two years ago. I found out my daughter was molested by a family member five months after that. We have moved on, and we are still strong. I managed to graduate college in December 2005, just a few months after Katrina and am now working as a teacher. Things happen for a reason...I take everything with stride and am thankful for every single thing that happens to me...good or bad.
My favorite saying is "There are NO EXCUSES for FAILURE, only FAILURE to make NO EXCUSES."

No I don't. because life is too short. Whenever I have a hard time, I try to keep things in perspective by asking myself this question: "Is this a life or death situation?" Then if it isn't one, I then realize that whatever the hard time that is going on, in a relative amount of time, things will pass.

I try not to let hard times get to me. I have the capacity to feel down about hard times, but, like you said, I know, if I do, it'll make it harder to get through, ya know?

Yeah I'm guilty of doing that at times even though I know that I shouldn't as things could always be worse then what they are although they could be better as well and at times I wish that they were but it is what it is.
