1. work is anything that creates physical resistance to a state of rest or non movement, it is also activity that will directly or indirectly positively benefit the person doing is, ex fixing your door, although you don't get paid for it you benefit because it closes behind you and protects you from the weather from outside.
2 and 3. yes. Try to think about not working, not getting paid, not fixing yourself dinner, not taking out the trash, not changing your child's diaper, you can not go through life with out work of some kind.
4. A work is stated in answer one and a job is simply work with money profit. A job is always work and work can be a job but not always. it like a square. A square is a rectangle but rectange is not always a square.
5.The difference lies with the person asking the question, it is what you make of it and nothing more.

Great question, good luck.

1.What is work? The reason the world has an economy, and get up every morning.

2.Why do people work? because if they do not, they won't survive very long without a means of supporting themselves.

3. Is work a neccessity? Industry makes the world go round, if people were not wroking, nothing would ever get done.

4. What is the difference between "work" and "job"? Well, you can have a job, and not have any work to do; you can work, and not get wages, like you would if you had a job.

5. What is the difference between "working" and being "umemployed"? A paycheck.
