I am a chiefs fan. But dont take Johnson. He carried the ball to much last year and his body will pay for it this year. Frank Gore would be a good pick but Alexander is much safer. And dont be so sure that Jackson will go #2. He is not nearly as popular as Alexander or even a guy like Peyton Manning. If Jackson does fall I would take him, but then Alexander would be my next choice.

I am in the same situation and am planning on taking Gore. I am too worried about Alexander's mediocre showing last year (even when he was healthy), the wear and tear and QB situation in KC allowing opponents to focus on LJ. Gore is a bit of an injury risk generally and is recovering from a broken hand, but seems to have the most potential upside, as well being in a division with weak defenses. The player I was also considering, and still might take is Addai. My league counts points per reception, which gives Gore and Addai a little more value.
In general, since each of these players has the potential to be a top RB, but also has some concerns, I think it is a rare case where you can go with your gut, or even allow your fandom to guide you as to whom you should pick.

Take Gore. The Niners are a team on the rise in a division with weak defenses. Johnson is behind because he missed part of training camp and he accumulated a lot of wear and tear on his body over the last 2 years. Alexander is close to 30, which is the age when Running Backs hit the wall and age quickly.

Johnson would be your best pick. Alexander is on the back end of his career and Gore put up great numbers but we need to see him do it consistanley before he is a top 3 pick. Johnson has shown that he can carry the load and put up great numbers consistantly.

Go with Johnson because I think he is due for a nother break out season. The Chiefs will be relying on him to carrythe mail especially in the clutch.

I would take johnson just because he has his contract situation resolved and you wnat the best RB out there. Take another RB next because you can get solid QB's and WR's later in the rounds.
