Believe me I know. My husband is in Iraq for his second tour. He'll be home next month. I think we need to get out of there too. Bush just doesn't know what he is doing.

I do not believe we had any business going in their in the first place, but now that we have created the political mess in what was once a stable country, I do not believe we can just walk away from it, and let the anarchy increase.
Sure, Sadam Hussian was a tyrant, who ruled with horrific, abusive cruelty in an overbearing, inhuman way, and had to go. But was it upon the U.S. do make this happen? I do not think so, but Bush went in there to complete the task his daddy didn't 10 years prior, and we have now created a country full of lots of violence & chaos, that would be morally wrong to just walk away from.
I really do not know just what the solution is, but bailing out suddenly while things are still so unstable is NOT the solution. Perhaps we could get neighboring, mainly Muslium countries to get more involved in the policing & securtiy of Iraq; I don't know. What we are currently doing is not working either, but I firmly believe that it is at least keeping it from getting much worse.
Yes, there is tons of killing & violence still going on in Iraq, even with our army there; but there also was nearly the same amount of maiming & murder with Sadam in power, with two major differences: it was hidden from the world better, since it was the dictator in power doing it (so, shut up, or be next to die!), and now it is Americans dying, so all of a sudden we give a sh*t!
So, I hope & pray for a just solution: we can't undo what mistakes we have already made--like invading Iraq under the false pretenses of: "Weapons of Mass Destruction" in the wake of 9/11 patriotism; neither can we just walk away from them for some other corrupt power to fill the void. If not found soon, a Democrat (probably Clinton) will move into the White House in a year & a half, and just pull out in a way that does further damage to a beleagered country, something that to a large degree, we created.
But of course, all this is just my opinion; when it comes to political issues, there is no absolute right & wrong, just opinions.

It could it be that "secret societies" and "shadow governments" that control everything don't want out of Iraq. Billions of dollars are made on "war" and they are profiting from it. More and more information is being made available on the internet exposing this but the general public is brainwashed.

This president remembers vietnam and so do I. I support the pull out of our troops but think about it, if we lose the war the troops will come home with egg on their faces. Even bush said in a speech recently that pulling out now would dishonor our servicemen.
He's using all of these arguments to get others to support this stupid war.

Bush is essentially a child and he has a rubber stamp. He also has lots of Republican friends in low places in Congress who flip-flop just before voting time, so it is impossible to override a veto when Bush starts getting stamp-happy.

Here's some reasons.
1. Want to see millions slaughtered on TV. Guess what we leave and Darfur looks like a round of Russian roulette gone wrong.
2 The terrorists(Iran) move in and we lose what credibility we have with the Arab world.
3 It will embolden the terrorists.
And if that isn't good enough for all of you who think we should leave, how would you like it if Israel is wiped off the map.

I will address your incorrect assumptions which are based on deception:
1. We CAN get out of Iraq.
2. The majority of the Americans don't "want out".
3. Fortunately, most of us are aware of our need to be in Iraq.
