im thinking of starting a manga and i found these 2 great books that gives me some idea on what my characters would look like but of course my char will look different but there's just some cool looking armor and clothes.....is it ok if i copy that and put it in my work if im thinking of publishing my manga?

If you want to use copyrighted images, try to get permission.

eh...copying for practice is great, but I'd be wary of using it in work you want to publish. Just put yourself in the shoes of the guy who came up with the idea first.

Copying is an acceptable way to learn, but if you use copyrighted images you may set your self up for some trouble.

learning to draw is one thing, and creating your own work often another. good luck.
