It would depend on how many turtles you actually have, but I am going to go on the assumption you have a small amount..Sounds good.

It's really important to know what species of turtle you have. Some turtles need mostly water, while others need mostly land. If your turtle is aquatic, the water depth should be AT LEAST as deep as the shell is long, although deeper is good. If you don't already have basking spots (also called a haul-out spots) in the tank, you should add those immediately. To ensure your turtles' health, they also need hiding spots, a heat light, and a UVB light. The heat light should be at one end of the tank or the other. This will create a thermogradient (cooler water at one end, warmer water at the other end), which will allow the turtles to choose a temperature that's comfortable for them. The UVB light is separate from the heat light. Reptisun 5.0 is supposed to be a good brand.

If your turtles are red-eared sliders (the kind I've seen sold most often at 1-inch), a 20 gallon tank will be okay for now, but will need to be replaced with a larger tank within about a year. An adult male needs a 40-75 gallon tank, depending on his size. An adult female will be larger than her male counterparts, and will need AT LEAST a 75 gallon tank. Outdoor ponds become preferable when a female is really large.

How many turtles? Rule of thumb is 10 gallons per inch of shell. Check out this site for complete turtle care:

yes because the bigger the turtle gets the more room for it. and there will need to be enough water for it to swim and live.
