I know that there are a lot of furniture stores out here. Any suggestions where we should go shopping this weekend. I'm new to this area and do not really know which are the good ones. We are looking for a sectional sofa (not leather) now. We would like it to be nice and not way too expensive. I guess we are looking for a bargain. Please advise if you know. Thank you.

Stay away from Rent-to-own.
Take your time. furniture sales are cyclical; they will come back.
Shop around for the piece you want, not the price you want. If you find a nice piece, but settle for a less expensive one, you will always regret the purchase. Just wait for the price to come down, or negotiate with the seller.
