Me and my boyfriend just moved in to the apt. he was working with his dad but know he dad is be a butthead and don't want him around. but now he don't have a job and I really need him to get ajob. I love him so much...how do I tell him with out being rude or sound like Im Nagging him?

Sit down with him and all the bills and write out a budget and work on the numbers with him and let the numbers show him that he needs to work. Talk about if you only had the extra money it would be great to vacation or to be out of debt completely and let the number show him that you don't have the extra money. He might not get it at first but keep doing this each week and he will get it. I will also recommend that you pick up a book by Dave Ramsey "The total money makeover". Think about this, if you can not talk about money now then your in for some very big fights later on. Especially if you marry him someday.

Well, he probably realizes he needs to work, nagging, I've learned from experience doesn't work, I'm sorry to say. But if things don't get any better, you'll need to really sit down and have a talk with him. Hopefully you're working and which will help in that area, if not, you're going to want to start looking also. Two people living on one income or nothing honestly does not work.

perhaps, if you write out a detail list of monthly expenses showing how much everything cost each month. ( just to survive) The show him how far your pay check will go to pay it. ( I presume you work) then he may realize that he has to contribute to the house financially..if that doesn't work..get a new boyfriend!

are you working? if you're not, you have no business nagging him. if you are, just tell him not to get discouraged, and he'll find something soon. don't tell him to get a job, just keep reminding him that there is work, and he'll find some.
