I believe every day that you're out of school counts as one sick day. Most schools have a limit, but as long as you have a Dr.'s note, you should be fine.

You should check with your school. At my high school, for Seniors, if you missed a certain number of days in the second semester, you automatically failed whether the reason was excused or not. That may have been any semester for any grade, I don't remember, but I remember that when I was a Senior. Also, for the seniors that were 18, if they missed I think it was 5 straight days, they were considered as "drop outs." You need to be careful.

It counts as a few sick days. There are no special rules for pregnancy. Pregnancy is a condition, not a sickness.

As long as you have a Dr's note you should be fine and it will count as excused but if you don't have a Dr's note it adds up to unexcused and can lead to truancy charges if you are under 18 years old.

Every day that you miss class it counts as an absence. Most schools have a limited amount of absences before they drop unless you have dr notes.
