is it better to take micro first or macro first for college freshmen?

Micro is easier to understand and good macro should be built upon micro. Micro involves a single decision maker or single set of decision makers, macro involves entire nations, regions, states or industries.

I think its better to start with Micro and than go for Macro.
When u know Micro so you can see that how micro can be shifted to macro by taking all the individual economys and putting them all in one economy as whole. and u will be able to see how individuals decisions effect the economy as a whole.

It doesn't really matter. All that is different is the focus and the problems associated within that focus (macro -unemployment and inflations micro - price setting and market types).

I think that macro would be better since it tends to be broader but either is fine.
