Yes, and PLEASE ignore the ignorant people who enter unkind answers. Maybe God will let them walk in some of our shoes and open their ignorant eyes.
I assume you don't want to specify what type you may have or someone near to you has; I have multi-complex medical issues that have exhausted all avenues of treatment to where I cannot work now. The hard thing is they cannot be really seen on the outside. So sometimes people tend to think they don't really exist, though I have years of specialsts reports, mris, xrays, etc, etc, to prove so. I have some medication that helps sometimes; sometimes not much helps, all I can do is rest and hope and pray tomorrow is better. Praying and faith and my pets help some. Also thankfully I qualified for a group to deliver meals, that is a huge help since I cannot make the living that I used to, and also dont have energy to cook many days. I hope this was simply a curiousity for you and that you do not have a disability, it can be difficult. Take care.

I am bi-polar, which means that I do have a disability. It is not something that I deal with, it is who I am. I take meds on a daily basis and go on. Having a disability does mean that you are in any way different from anyone else. Everyone has a flaw about them, just some can be seen or heard.

I have had OCD.
Obsessive
Compulsive
Disorder
sometimes its very, very hard to get through it. people will taunt you sometimes, though its never happened to me and its uncontrolable too. i would have a fear of robbers, murderers, all the type, and so my obsessive compulsive disorder had made me keep going to check the door if i had locked it or not, then i kept going back to check, yes im sure everyone goes back to check but i would go back CONTINUALLY, as in like 20 times in a minute. i would have to be restrained and i had to take therapy and relaxation classes. My ocd also lead to an anxiety disorder.
however i just noticed, you asked disability.
people look down on disabled people, they go, oh how poor, they cant walk or, they cant hear, so and so, well the way to get through it and deal with it is just to ignore all that and find a way to make yourself feel equal with others, because a disabilty doesnt maybe you unequal in any way.

Yes, I have degenerative scoliosis, along with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a bad combination to be sure.
I'm only 44 and the worst part is feeling so much older, it's awful when your body betrays you.
I hate to be cliche but I deal with it one day at a time, and before you know it a year has slipped by, it's like parenting, while you're in the midst of it you can feel overwhelmed but then you blink and time has gotten away from you and you can't imagine how that happened!

I have several different 'invisible disabilities' ... and I 'deal with them' in my own way ... I prefer it if people think I am 'whole' even when I 'know' I'm not ... even to the point of getting up to give a seat on the bus to someone I know is 'whole' because she 'thinks' she's disabled ... and moving to the back of the bus, with the 'normal' people.

Yes I have Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Dealing with it is very hard. I tend to be very self distructive, and have violent mood swings. It is a very depressing sickness. I would not wish this on nobody.
