I'm like that at a store, I do want that, but instead i get something different entirely. But i don't think to myself and say "What a jip?", but what is a jip anyways? Well what I would say is that wow i can't believe i got it that for price...or wow, that's really neat.

What I need and what I want is frequently the same, and yes I have gotten them. Often though I have gotten what I want even though it was much more than what it could be said that I needed. Good for me!

The difference between now and the distant past is that I always used to get more of what I didn't want or worse what I feared I would get. Then things got so bad that I totally stopped giving a damn about what I got and everything turned around for the best. I have not looked back ever since.

Thankfully every day of my life. Jip nothing. I'm happy and got what I need. Every so often I get what I want and wonder why I wanted it in the first place.

Oh, yeah! And now, in probably the middle of my life, none of the stuff I used to want could replace the blessings I needed and got! I look at my family and my life and know, in my heart of hearts, that I really got everything my HEART desired - not what my silly immature head was chasing! I have never never never thought it was a "jip!"

Sure, all the time, but then, I can not tell you how long it takes, or how many times it has happened, but many times, I find out what would have happened if I had had my way, and then I see that fate took me to a better place. Just cos we want something does not always mean it is what is best for us.

It happened to me a few times. Things f*cked up, then ended up to something better (which I realize is better for me than what I previously aimed for).

It's like the universe works for me when I don't know better.
