Put cotton balls or tissue in the middle of a white cloth, and drape the cloth over the "stuffing." Then, group the stuffing together under the cloth, and put a rubber band just under it. You should have a little ghost-like thing to hang (after you draw a face on the puffy part).

They sell large orange trashbags with pumpkin faces on them....all you do is stuff the bag and you have a pumpkin.
Or you can make small pumpkins out of clay (bake and paint them if the clay is not pre-colored)...

Pipe-cleaner works great for spider legs.....paper mashe is always an option too.

Take Black Yarn and make a spider web on your front porch or between two trees. then make a spider out of the large trash bags by filling one trash bag into a round shape with newspapers for the body, then a smaller one in a round shape for the head, and then split 8 of the black trash bags in half, fill with newspapers shaping into long cylinder shapes for the legs. (4 for the joint next to the body, and 4 for the joint from the leg attached to the body giving the spider the impression that it's legs are a downward v shape. My children loved this one. You can even spray the web with the "glow-in-the-dark" spray and black light it for a more eerie effect!
