what do you mean, my "view" ? this isn't a choice, by most teenagers, so it's hardly a political stand one can be "for" or "against"
it's one of those sad things that happens, but it's still a baby brought into this world, and it's still wonderful.
Hopefully, if the young woman isn't fit to care for her own child, she'll give the child to a loving family, who can be responsible and care for a child.
Teenager's "view" on it should be not to have sex, especially when they don't know what they're doing, in order to avoid changing their lives forever, in such a way.

I view them normally. I don't even understand why some people on here say they are whores because they haven't been there and neither have i. I can't look down on them because they had a baby at a young age. Some people on here are being hypocritical by saying they are whores because what if they themselves are the result of teenage pregnancy or a unplanned pregnancy. Would they even know? Probably not.
Anyways i think that if they are a good mother and do what is right for the baby then that is great. Judging people for what they did in the past is not right. We should be judging them on what they do to improve the present. Teenage moms are normal people and they shouldn't be put down if they are doing the right things.

I just had my first baby, and I'm 24. It's stressful. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to be 15 or 16.. and have a baby.
Teenage pregnancy is far to common. I'm not going to judge someone who's a teen parent. because by having a baby, and going an entire 9 months, and taken care of a baby is alot of work, and every mother, regardless of age should be appreciated for the sacrifice they've given to that child. Even the 15 year olds, who go to school to finish their education, and work part time.
It's too bad that the most important lessons in life are the ones when people get themselves into trouble.

A lot of people look down on teenagers who are pregnant, but the truth of the matter is, MANY people have sex in highschool, and usually, it's guys that go looking for it. A simple fact is that often, a result of sex, is a baby, and condoms/birth control don't always work, and are not always used/taken correctly.
People will say, hey, if you're not ready to have a baby, don't have sex.. But, my thought is, you can only say that if you are still a virgin.. because sooo many people have sex before they're ready for a baby.
Another thought is... MAYBE if schools taught REAL sex education that included birth control and pregnancy-prevention, instead of just "abstinence" there wouldn't be such a high-rate of teenage pregnancy. The fact of the matter is teenagers have been having sex forever, they're going to keep having sex no matter what, and preaching abstinence to them doesn't mean diddly to a lot of them.
Educate them, give them easy access to birth control & condoms, and then look at the statistics in a few years. I'm sure you would be very surprised.

Responding to Jesse Not all of us are whores FYI first on all have you ever been in a situation of being a teenage mom its already hard enough for us to walk around and have people staring at us like we were some aliens form space! Second of all not all girls opened their legs and got pregnant some of us were raped and others just made a bad decision everyone makes a mistake and I'm sure you made plenty. And third of all it takes a some one strong and devoted to be a mother for 18 years you have to tell your child don't make the same mistake go to college be someone follow your dream. All those teenage moms out their who loves their child and accepted their mistakes in my eyes you are a strong women because I've seen grown adults walk up in a clinic to get abortions cause they are not strong enough to accept that mistake. Go get an education Jesse you just pissed me off. *mad*

I think that they were irresponsible, and thats why they ended up pregnant, but I dont look down on them one bit. Especially not the ones who choose to keep and raise their own children, and cope with the hardships of being a teenage mom. I applaud those who can do that, and I applaud the teenaged dads even more, because SO many of them choose to run away from their problems rather than step up and help out the girl.....

most are not ready to be paretns and are not cut ofut for the job. they lack responiblity and are too selfish to rasie children on their own... but not all...
I was so afraid of becomeing a teen mom... but I had no reason to ... I married at barely 17 to my 18 year old teenage crush, we both worked full time and supported ourselves infact we even bought our own home when I found out i was pregnant at the ages of 19 and 20 without help for anyone else!
I turned 20 , one week before my son was born ...became a stay at home mom, my husband got a better paying job so that I could do so. our som is now 4 and we are still married, still own our home and are exspecting baby #2 in mid. Nov.
you shouldn't judge all by a few... but they should have to prove themselves...

Teenage moms have it tough. They are often trying to juggle raising a child, working, and going to school....and usually with no help from anyone else. I do think they have some advantages though as well. They'll still be quite young when the kids move out! And they have plenty of energy to run around with their kids. And they can relate better to their kids when they become teenagers b/c it's not that long ago that they themselves were one.
It wasn't that long ago that teenage pregnancy wasn't a social stigma but a societal norm.

I feel that a teenage mother is a girl who had sex too soon and it drastically altered their life. However, the ones I do see, I can't help but feel a little proud of because they are adult enough to deal with the actions of their mistakes instead of using abortion as their birth control.

Everyone makes mistakes. Once its done its done. And its not like they say hey Im gonna have a baby and become a teen mom. But its also part of education maybe if they were more educated by their parents stuff like this would not happen so much. But Im not gonna judge. I've made my share of mistakes and still do.
