The Ring! It scared me so much that I had to sleep with the light on for a while and couldn't go near TVs, lol. Even now if I think about the movie for a long time I will get scared all over again and not go downstairs to the TV without being really cautious =) I hope this helps!

The scariest movie... and I think I have seen them all.. and there are 2 of them that comes to mind for this question.. one is the original 'The Hitcher', the other is the original 'when a stranger calls', (the remake sucked) but those movies come to mind with this question
