For me, it would be Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails. Very emotional song. I also saw Papa Roach do a cover of Nirvana's "Lithium". I'm not a Roach fan, but they did good.

best ever? that's hard my fav cover though would have to be White Lion's cover of Radar Love by Golden Earring. Whoever thinks White Lion were just power ballad pretty boys has never heard that cover....talk about total sonic assault!
