Okay, it looks like its only dividing incorrectly.

Take 9/6 for example, it says it equals 2. Or 7/2 equals 4. What the hell is going on? I messed with the settings today...I probably pressed something wrong. But I don't know how to fix it.

Press the MODE button. The second line should look lIke:
FLOAT 0123456789
You have it on 0. Change it to FLOAT and that should fix it.

Hi,
Definitely sounds as if you have the MODE set on 0 (zero). Try multiplying 2.3 times 4.2 and if you get 10, then that's the problem.
So, here's all you need to do:
1) Press MODE. On the second line after FLOAT, you should see that 0 (zero) is highlighted.
2) Move the cursor so that FLOAT is highlighted and press ENTER.
3) Press 2nd, QUIT (the second function of MODE) and you should be back in business.

Don't be too quick to reset the calculator as many people seem to recommend to correct all problems. If you have any programs, you can lose them.

Hope this helps.

I think you messed up with the rounding off function (9/6=1.5 => rounded off to 2, 7/2=3.5 => rounded off to 4). Just look up the manual to adjust how many figures you want to round off the answer to. But my suggestion is: you don't need a TI-84 Plus to do those kind problems. A cheap scientific calculator will do the trick. I finished my three Calculus classes with a $8 Casio calculator, all with A's.;-P

[plus sign]
[7]
[2]

I hope you get it fixed. If that doesn't work, I don't really know what could be wrong

It sounds like you've somehow told your calculator to round up to the nearest whole number. I don't know how to disable this feature, but I'm sure the manual will tell you...
