Synthetic blend is synthetic mixed with regular oil genius.
It's only 25% synthetic. You don't really get much benifit from it since the petroleum based oil in it still has all the disadvantages like breaking down under stress and shorter lifespan. It would be better to go full synthetic.

Nope that is something you do not do is mix Synthetic oil or Synthetic Blend oil with regular oil.

its normally a 50-50 mix when you buy it by the quart even conventional oil now adays has somewhat of a synthetic - base oil mix to it but not enough to call it a blend

if you are going to go from regular to synthetic its the same ratio just make sure you drain out all the used oil first it's a good desition synthec is way better than reg

its unregulated , there is no federal standard !
1 drop is all it takes.
do more research and you find all the top brands use group III DINO oil.
Sny oil can be made from Dino or Pig fat what you get is anyones guess.
Read for an hour on Chevron Oil engineering pages.
its all there.
just buy a top brand and not be fooled into paying $7 a qt. like so many suckers.

Amsoil is Group IV polyalphaolefin, a true synthetic.
