I don't know if ignoring him for one month is enough punishment for what he had done.

He pawned his wedding ring and you want to punish him?

1)You're not his mother you're his wife. You can't give him a timeout no matter how bad you want it.

2)If you are more concerned about him selling his ring and not dealing with the bigger picture then I'd have to ask you this..do you like drama?

3)Find a hobby, go to school tofurther you education..something, anything because you need to figure out how to put things in perspective.

There seems to be a serious problem here, and it isn't the punishing. You should definitely find out why he pawned something so symbolic and sacred in the first place. If he could part with it so easily, that may speak about the relationship and the value he sees in you.

You should first ASK your husband if that is true. Don't just assume without evidence. Get to the bottom of this with some hard core proof. Then find out why your husband did this, or why his friend lied. At last seek marriage couseling, because there are obviously underlying problems that aren't being seen here. Good Luck.

Tell him you know he pawned his wedding ring and he had better go pick it up. He will be quite embarrassed that you know and it will torment him wanting to know how you found out. Don't ever tell him. I'm a married man myself and my wedding ring is just as sacred as my vow of eternal love and fidelity that I promised my wife on the day I married her. I would rather die a thousand deaths than to ever give up my my wedding ring or to ever compromise my eternal love and fidelity for my precious wife.

Go to the pawn shop and buy it back then tell him you found it and leave it to sit for a day of two. Or buy it back and cook him a wonderful dinner be the best wife then put it on the table without a word. He will piss him self!

Maybe he needed the money for a stripper..I find it sad that these guys treat there wives the way they do I would love to have a girl want to marry me let alone be my wife...I feel so bad that this guy would do this to you...If you want to punish him pop his tires he will have to pay to get new ones and he will never think you did it just say " I wonder how that happened?"

Who paid for the ring to begin with? If it was him he had the right to pawn it. Wanting to "punish" him makes it look like you think you're his mommie rather than his wife.

I would be pissed off with him for sure. I don't know why men feel the need to lie all the time. I would take my ring off and say Honey I don't know what happened to it can you help me look for it. And then I would leave him looking and go for a very long drive to cool my myself down.

He pawned his wedding ring?!

That is definitely a sign.

Punish him by filing for divorce--he obviously isn't interested in staying together, anyway.

If he pawned your wedding ring???

Break his nose.

But first make sure the best friend isn't the one telling the lie.
