silly girl. Chinese is a different language. Of course it's a different name. Chinese people eat lots of things, but in a Chinese restaurant you will be served whatever the menu states that it is. Yes, many Chinese people eat things that you and I find repulsive but that doesn't mean it's not ok to eat. Go to any Chinese market and you'll find many things that you don't recognize. They believe that certain things make you healthier, more virile, or even smarter and that's their prerogative. If you don't like it don't eat that stuff. Stick to sweet and sour pork, kung pao chicken, and chow mein noodles.

You're funny. Did you know that in Mexico some people eat mosquito eggs and armadillo? Did you know that in Peru some people eat Guinea Pigs? Did you know that in Vietnam some people eat fermented eggs with duck fetuses in them? Did you know that all over the world people eat things native to their countries that may seem odd to people in other countries?
Did you know that Panda Express is a chain restaurant the has to meet requirements of a Health and Safety Code and doesn't serve anything not acceptable or substandard. And they don't serve rodent.
But hey, did you know that I bet you that in more than one place in the world, some people eat rats and it may not be in China. It may be. But I'll bet you there are other places in the world where people eat rats.
Oh and guess what - I wrote the Encyclopedia Britanica before I launched www.Iknoweverything.com, so you know I'm telling you the truth when I say there's nothing like a nice hunk of rat with mashed potatoes and crickets.

different culture groups eat different things, some eat bug, some eat worms, and some eat rat, not just the poor in china, but around the world.
here in the North America we have an abundance of food, and the means to purchase that food, but do we really have a right to judge others? wouldn't you eat rat if you were starving? I know I would rather eat rat then other humans when faced with life and death situations.
Anyways, you'll find rat meat in common hotdogs. Mmmmm taste good with ketchup.

LOL, Shatweeka.... we made it up in high school (about 15 yrs ago) because we had a friend who named her girl some really odd name and we could never pronounce it right so we started calling the baby Shatweeka. Don't worry, we didn't call the baby that to its face... but when we would be talking about her in conversation that is how we referred to her and since then I have actually met two girls named that.

Some people in Southern China eat rat meat. Laoshu Rou... no hidden name, it's just called rat meat. I don't know how its prepared. Our family doesn't have any rat dishes, but I heard some people do eat the meat.
Did you know that many people in china are disgusted that other cultures eat whole slabs of meat, enough meat to feed their own family for a whole week is on just one persons plate for just one meal. That slab of meat most of us know as Prime Rib.

Did you know that American people used to own slaves and beat them for 496 years?
Who the hell would allow you to eat panda? Seeing how it's an endangered species, you would get shot for even touching one. At least bs a better story next time.

Wow you are prejudiced.
Panda Express is a chain restuarant. I highly doubt they would serve rat.
Also I think you are FOS.
