what? people aren't responsible for themselves anymore? they aren't obese due to lack of self-control?

I don't think fast food is to blame for America's obesity problem. People do have a choice to go to the grocery store and cook their own healthy food rather than eat bad things. Yes it's convenient, but we still do have a choice to take a walk later or exercise regularly. People need to assume responsibility for their own actions and not try to blame temptations. Plus, why do you think McDonald's put up all those play toys in their places? So you can work those fries off the thighs!! (That was a joke, but the other stuff was really how I felt!)

In my opinion no. McDonalds does make/sell the food, but people make the decision to eat it.
