The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is hardly a liberal. In fact, until he was replaced he was totally supportive of Bush and the Iraq war. So what does he know that Bush doesn't?
He says the US Army will be unable to deal with anything else that might happen in the world.
And that leaves who? Who's still in favor of staying in Iraq?
Bush, his dog and Cheney?

Certainly we will leave sooner or later. I prefer sooner. The country will be voluntarily divided into three 'soft' partitions...Shiia, Sunni, Kurds. They will of necessity interact...but only as necessary. The trick will be settling the oil revenue distribution. Iran's influence will grow exponentially and Al Queda's influence will diminish. All in all a, classic cluster ____. And, the truly sad part is that all of it was totally unnecessary. Thirty seven hundred people and counting killed, a trillion dollars and counting spent (wait till we see the re-construction bill for the infra structure...ouch!), and all for nothing. What a disgusting and tragic waste. People, please do not let the neocon nuts convince you that we need to invade Iran. I predict that is exctly what they will do. How truly sad. What has become of the U.S.?

Well, I've been against this no win situation since it's inception. I say, it's about time some non-liberals in power recognize Bush is not flexible in his thinking and it's time to alienate oneself from this knucklehead.
