Should, I don't know that is up to Vick whether he actually learned a lesson or not. If so, then I am fine in 3-5 years. I think to be able though, he would have to come clean to Goodell and then make good with some gestures that would appease Goodell, the NFL owners, and the animal activists that are up in arms. Honestly, I am not sure if Vick is capable of that part.

I expect Michael Vick to try and sneak back in under the radar in about 3 or 4 years. But he's going to be surprised, animal lovers do NOT forget. Any team that takes him might as well throw their money in the toilet, because Michael Vick will never produce when the entire stadium or dome is rocking with boo's directed at him.

Well, he's suspended indefinately by the NFL without pay. The hammer is about to fall. Will he be forgiven? I think so. America likes to think that people can be redeemed. I'm sure that even those people who are calling for Vick to get life or to be dropped in a pen with angry pit bulls would want their own chance at redemption, should they ever be found to have screwed up this bad. And rest assured that if he gets that chance, he's not about to do THIS again.

If he is allowed back into football , why would anyone in their right mind set foot in a stadium that he was in. If the team owners are making a profit they could care less about your booing dog boy. The sound of silence ,with nobody in the stands ,would be heard by the owners a lot sooner than the boos and dog boy would not be back.

Hopefully he will return....i dont think soo though because as the first answer said we need good role models...though in my opinion go to an elementary school and ask kids about what Vick did and about 99% wont know anything about the dogfighting stuff...the reason they might no laer is because of the fans with signs and the ongoing talks of what he has done

Patrick - you must not have heard the Commissioner! He said Vick is still liable for the gambling as far as he is concerned. I'm so glad Vick couldn't plea his way out of what he has coming!

He will return. That is what the plea deal is all about. Click the link below. He, and his lawyers, knew that the only thing that could keep him out of the NFL permanently was admitting to gambling. Since he has not pled guilty to that, and the plea deal distinctly sais he did not engage in it, he will be free to return after he does his time or whatever.
