How long does a women ovulate? I've been ovulating for 3 days now, maybe even 4 days as of today. Any clue?

A woman ovulates in 1 minute, not 3 or 4 days. Once the egg is released it's good only for 24 hours, after that it can't be fertilized..

It only takes a moment to ovulate. That's when the egg bursts out of the ovary. But you can be fertile for about four days before and one day after. I get that pain for two days, the day I ovulated and the day after. I hope that helps and good luck!

if you do ovulation tests similar to preg tests..........then when you ovulate the test line will be darker than the control line when you reach your ovulation surge which lasts for 24 to 36 hours .......you would find that if you retested your ovulation after this time the control line is stronger than the test line which means your ovulation surge has passed
