going to the store and purchasing a lot of food and then get a carry out and sit in your air conditioned car while they put the grociers in your car in the hot sun???
my sister works at a grocery store and says this is the worst thing that someone could do, but she sees it all the time of course if you are old it's fine but when you are young and especially if you did not have to pay for your food (food stamps), what lazy ppl .

Never! I've asked for an escort to my car when it was very late- 1am on 2 occasions but I loaded my groceries; and once asked if the bagger could stand with my cart by the door so I could pull my car up but it was the middle of winter with 8 inches of snow on the ground and I was 6 months pregnant. I think it is very rude for physically able people to expect others to load their groceries!
Tell your sister she has to bite her tongue with the rude ones, and know that there are people out there that appreciate the job she is doing.

Except for one time, I've always load my groceries. The box boy kept asking me and I kept saying no thank you. It was only 3 bags. He told me management wanted box boys to load every purchase and he'd be in trouble if I refused. So I let him, but I thought that was a terrible policy.

I always open my trunk and tip the person who helped me. Where I live mostly old men help you take the shopping cart to your car and unload it, I try to be generous because they have no other way to make money.

never! we always help out...most of the time we say no thanks when the employees ask to help...i mean they do enough as it is...people are so damn lazy. they just take advantage of others.
