I was the maid of honor in a wedding and the groom had his sister be the "best woman" - and it was perfect!
Why not have people who mean something to you - instead of just the "right" sex?
The people you choose to be in your wedding party should be close friends who are going to support your decision to be married - and support your marriage over the years. If there are more women in your life who will do that than men - then of course you should choose them to be in your wedding party.
I'm curious about the "guys on here" part. Are you choosing your wedding party from Y! Answers?

If they let people have weddings with 2 grooms and no bride, I don't think anyone cares.

I would not mind if you had 3 grooms-women but I think you should run it pass Miss T.

Sure why not? I have attended several weddings where there was no truly set pattern to the groomsman or bridesmaids. It is your wedding so you should have it any way you want it.
