I'd love to know how you decided he was bulgarian.
I'm guessing you're English yourself - you use English turns of phrase, so if you are indeed Irish, you're making a very good effort to sound English. Examples:
"in the pub with my mates"
"when im guessing "
"He got the hump"
"i basically laughed at him"
What Irish did you use? Give us an example.
Irish ancestors don't make you Irish, or for that matter be a spokesman for the Irish in deciding to spoil a guy's day of fun when he's harming nobody. We're well able to speak for ourselves.

No way could a Bulgarian be Irish, it needs many generations to inbreed the peculiar Irish Logic which sets aside that fine nation from the other parts of the British Isles.

Hello,
No, the Bulgarians are caucasian and Celtic in part like the Irish. The only day when everyone in the world is Irish is on St. Patrick's day!

i don't know about racist but you are a jerk. you have issues, you are unhappy with your life, why are you getting mad at me through the computer screen? seems silly right, i'm halfway around the world. why would you care what i said? Do you have any idea the kinds of things people say to each other? If some guy makes you upset because he's bulgarian i can only imagine you cry yourself to sleep when no ones looking. What do you do when confronted with real problems in your life? do you insult them or threaten them, does that work out for you?

No, but in America, for one day out of the year in March everyone is Irish. Even though he was getting on your nerves, you were sorta harsh, I think you missed understood him, I think you could have taken it as a compliment. He seems to really enjoy your country.

If he wasn't taking the mick, you overreacted. If he wants to be Irish let him. It doesn't matter if he was born here, his ancestors are from here, or if he can speak Irish. If he is here, learning the culture, if he's singing Irish songs great, he's trying to assimilate.
If he was taking the mick, then you were right.

I don't know, but I would much prefer to see immigrants, and especially their children, start to consider themselves Irish. Multiculturalism is a disaster and promotes segregation and racism. I would like to see eastern European and African immigrants who have moved here to make a new life consider themselves Irish, as I think it may help people to accept them better.
