I got some coolant in my engine when my throttle body gasket got a leak, maybe two or three cups got in. It blew white smoke, so I changed the oil. After driving it a little and letting it Idle the smoke stopped but there is a horrible mis-fire. There is also a loud high pithc squealing noise. Did I damage a spark plug, or bend a rod? Not sure what to think.

after the engine cools overnight replace the plugs.... the squeal may just be coolant that got on the belt or pully.. a bent rod will show up soon enough

The high pitched squeal could be a vacuum leak. Take it back to the shop that did the work and have them refix it. The vacuum leak will cause a misfire, especially at an idle. It never hurts to install new plugs and inspect the old ones to see how the engine's running.

What make, model, year, and engine displacement is it? And i'm sure there's a few other things we need to know before doing a diagnosis, like auto transmission or manual. The sound could be a blower motor, pulley, belt, axle, brake caliper, or any other rotating part.

what you see is just left over coolant. just drive it on the freeway and floor it. this will expell left over coolant. if engine miss fire at idle, raise the engine speed to 2500 rpm for about 3 minutes and then drive it on the freeway.

Most likel fouled the plugs. That would be a good place to start. Either clean them or replace them and see if this improves the situation. Then go from there. good luck.
