If you don't already have an MP3 player, why don't you get an iPOD?
Other great ideas, specially for girls, a digital camera, PSP (you can play games, use it to store music and watch movies) all on the go since it's portable.
Hope these helped. Happy bday.

I hope you don't see your dad the way it sounds like you do! That is, simply as a source of presents. Tell him you don't want presents, just his presence. Tell him that for this birthday you simply want him to take you out for dinner, and that all you want is to spend the day, or part of it anyway, with him. Make his day! And let him make it your day.
It's very difficult being a good father when you don't live with your daughter. Unbelievably difficult! Tell him you understand that, and that he shouldn't try too hard by lavishing gifts on you. At the end of the day, you will feel good, and so will he.

Be grateful for whatever you receive !!
You shouldn't be telling your dad you don't want certain gifts, different if you already own them.
There are a lot of kids who don't see their estranged parent and never receive anything for birthdays etc..
I would say to your dad seeing you and spending time with you on my birthday would be the best pressie..
PS many happy returns x

How about the new iPhone? Or an iPod or something if you haven't got one? I'm not sure about the iPhone being out here in the UK yet though, assuming you do live in the UK.
Or a digital camera or video recorder? Gooood luck!

Maybe you should ask for a personality to replace your rampant materialism. Figure out what's important in life: you should ask him to spend more time with you.
Besides, if you don't know what you want its because you don't need anything. Maybe you could ask him to donate money to children who don't have anything.

How about a huge clock made out of spare bits and bobs...
Do you think he could make something like any of these?
