Some would have the application online, others will have to be done in person or by mail. It depends on the County. Not all county's have business licenses. Most business licenses are obtained at the city level.

It depends on the county. What county is it? Usually, it just requires payment of a fee and a completed licensure application. However, a business license will not be usually be issued until you have received the appropriate clearance by the planning, building, engineering, fire and sherrif's offices.

Go to City Hall in your town and ask about the requirements. If your town isn't the county seat you may have to go out of town, but you should at least be able to get directions and such from the folks at your city hall.
