I like the name Julioni but what if Rudy Julioni becomes our president for the next 8 years? Could be cool or he could be teased. I have a daughter named Regan - Ronald Reagan-. I think it is super cute though. Did you get it from the governor or find it somewhere else?

You meanas in Rudy Gulianni, the mayor of New York? I don't really like it. The association is too close. I like Julian though, it is much simpler and easier to pronounce and spell. I think if you need to write out the pronunciation so that people know how to say it then the name is too complicated.

No. I honestly can say I don't.
Most people will mispronounce it and call him Juilani anyway, because that's the first name that comes to mind.
I guess a cute nickname for him would be Jules.

i love it. my boyfriend and i agreed that if we have a boy (which we are due for twin boys) one of them would be named giovanni since my boyfriend is italian. i love italian names, and there are so many nicknames that you can go with as well. in your circumstance, jules might be the most common nickname, i love the name but think alot about it before you go for it.

I think if anything just go for julion. With the "i" on the end it sounds too much like a girls name.
