Your credit report should list the debtors and their contact address/number. Also, try an on-line search. Something to remember is that sometimes, companies are bought out and are owned by somebody else. You still owe the money but it will be paid to a different name since they bought the company/debts.

If the debts still appear on your credit report, the credit bureau has contact information for the accounts. The need the information to contact them for verification if you dispute the account. The contact information is included when you obtain a copy of your report. If the account no longer appears on your credit report, and they are not contacting you, don't worry about it, you can only do what you can do.

strongly suggest you start keep track of all of your attempts to contact them and document how when and use register mail -- than set aside a fund for past debts and do not i repeat do not touch because sooner there you will expect they will surface!!!
