Life isn't about looks
If you sore someone on the street that looked a bit srattyish but attractive on the face would you judge them and not think they must be a realy good person

Or even if you are not attracted to them, would you wait to know them before you call them ugly or anything else unpleasant?

When I look at someone, I mean really stop to take a look, I always wonder what is going on in their life. I wonder how they feel about themselves, I wonder what has ahppened to them, what they want to do with their future. I also take into account, if I see something about them, that would perhaps indicate a trauma in their life, something about their appearance or conduct that they can not help. For example, a man with an obvious hair piece, the first thing that comes to my mind is, did this man have a round about with cancer and chemotherapy, and lost his hair that way, and is wearing that to feel good about how he looks? Or a scar on someone's face or other part of their body, obviously, they did not want that, or were probably not born with it, I think, oh, that poor person may have been in a serious accident and luckily they survived, and have enough strength not to let a scar lower their self-esteem or cause them to hide from other people. People with speech impediments, or people that are challenged in some way, I admire them for not letting that hinder them from living a normal life. Honestly, when I think about the people I see, it reminds me that no matter how bad I think I have had it in life, there is always someone who has had worse, and I thank G-d for my blessings, and I also ask G-d to bless that person, just because. If I want to call someone ugly, it is because of what they have shown me of the ugliness they keep inside them, the anger and unpleasantness they carry around with them. Then, I feel bad for the fact that I can think of many reasons why they are the way they are, and think, thank G-d I am strong enough to not be as unpleasant as they are. I thank G-d that I have had the strength to not let unfortunate events turn me into a person like that, and then I ask G-d to soften their hearts, and let them have some sense of joy, so as not to harbor hate and hurt other people becuase that person hurts so much and feels so little for themselves and others.

Sorry, what's "srattyish" mean? Honestly, I have no idea.

I do not believe in "First Impressions last". I would need to know someone first and understand their circumstances before I would consider my thoughts towards them.

Looks are not everything and as the saying goes, "You can not read a book by its cover."

I believe that people are generally cynical but will not admit this. They believe themselves to be basically good but they all harbour prejudices.

I do not condemn an entire race or even a religious group because of what one or more of them may claim to do or indeed represent.

To me, everyone is a blank canvas and all are equally loved and cherished.

I reserve any judgement until I have seen what they do and how they do it.

Alas I work with too many people who simply don't care for their job or the company, just the pay-check at the end of the month and anything they can steal in the meantime. There's no justification for that.

The world is full of people who judge others by looks. At the grocery store, post office, gas station ect. We are rude to one another. I think everyone has forgotten their manners. Kindness has gone out the window. I don't think I judge people as I go through my day. I think it's sad when someone whose job is dealing with people has the personality of a pit bull.

I never judge anyone...but i have noticed that good looking females and guys get the most hits on their yahoo 360 pages, so maybe people are judged on looks, that's wrong in my eyes.

Good looks don't make for good person, People who think they are good looking tend to be vain self centred and self obsessed. Judge a person by actions not looks.
